In fact, some research suggests that any traumatic experience, from sitting exams to splitting up with a partner, can have an adverse effect on your skin. So what can you do about it? If things are getting on top of you, it’s a good idea to put aside 10 minutes every day just for relaxing. Try a moisturising face mask to give skin an extra soothing treat, or give yourself a mini massage to boost circulation and restore a healthy glow. Think about finding other ways to relax too – whether it’s an absorbing new hobby or stress-busting exercise regime, it could all lead to a happier, more beautiful you.
